Royal Commonwealth Society Bursary Awarded annually to a UPEI student from a Commonwealth country other than Canada in any field of study. The award is based on academic excellence and need. Michael Robison Memorial Scholarship for Nursing Awarded to a registered nurse currently enrolled in a graduate Nursing program who is preferably a graduate of the UPEI Nursing program who intends to work on the Island. The successful candidate will have a particular interest in the impact of heart disease on individuals and/or families and whose work will enhance community support for families of cardiac victims. Bob & Priscilla Borden Scholarship for Graduate Research (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) Awarded to a graduate student who is interested in studying post-traumatic stress disorder (PSTD). Candidates must meet UPEI graduate admission criteria; identify a prospective supervisor; commit to studying post-traumatic stress disorder; and must not be receiving another major graduate scholarship of $5,000 or more. John and Isabel Copan Entrance Scholarship Awarded to a full-time first-year student entering UPEI from Pictou County, Nova Scotia, who is in financial need and has a good high school academic record.
