| Background: | This annual award was established at the University of Prince Edward Island by family and friends in memory of Alan Moore.
Alan Moore was a first-year engineering student at the University of Prince Edward Island. A motorcycle accident claimed his life in 1983 at the age of 19.
Alan was born in Charlottetown and was a graduate of Charlottetown Rural High School. He entered the University of Prince Edward Island to pursue a career in Engineering.
Alan is well remembered by his peers and professors. This memorial award will assist a student pursuing an Engineering degree. |
