A native of Sydney, Cape Breton, Art Fitzgerald has a BA in Mechanical Engineering from Dalhousie Universityand an MBA from York University. reretiring in 2001, he was Co-CEO of Renessen, a biotechnology joint venture between Monsanto and Cargill,developing new grains and oilseeds. In the community, Art has been a board member of the Animal HealthInstitute and Chairman and board member of St. Joseph Institute for the Deaf in St. Louis, Missouri. Jean Fitzgerald was born in Halifax, NS. Her father was a native of Charlottetown, PEI and her mother fromEngland. Jean is a graduate of Mount St. Vincent University in Halifax and worked as a teacher in
Nova Scotiaand Ontario. Her extensive involvement with her community includes being a volunteer and fundraiser for St.Joseph Institute for the Deaf in St. Louis, Missouri. |
