| Description: | Awarded to an alumna from the Charlottetown Hospital School of Nursing who is pursuing post-RN studies, or is a child of an alumnae member enrolled in the BScN program. If no alumna or child is eligible, the award will be offered to a student entering the fourth year of the BScN program at UPEI. |

| Background: | This bursary is available to alumnae of the Charlottetown Hospital School of Nursing pursuing post-RN studies through UPEI and UNB or St. F.X. If there are no alumnae members enrolled in any of these post-RN programs, the award will be made available to a direct descendant of an alumnae at either UPEI, UNB, or St. FX., or the BScN program at UPEI. If there are no alumnae or direct descendants of alumnae enrolled in a post-RN program in any of the universities mentioned, or in the BSc
N program at UPEI, the award will be made available to a student entering fourth year of the Nursing program at UPEI. The selection is based primarily on financial need. |
