1. Complete the application form.
2. Send your official high school transcripts or transcripts from your current institution.
3. Pay the application fee of $75 CAD.
4. If available, arrange to have your English test results sent to UPEI.
5. If you have been out of school for over six months, send us a letter of activities that describe what you did while you were away from school.
6. If you need to apply for transfer credits, please send English course descriptions for any post-secondary studies you may have done.

If you do not have TOEFL or IELTS test results, please check out our EAP (English Academic Preparation) Program. Upon your arrival at UPEI, you can start with an EAP assessment.

Tuition & international fees are the same for EAP courses as for credit courses. Students must be registered in a minimum of 3 courses (EAP and/or credit courses) to qualify for the UPEI Student Medical Plan. Students are strongly encouraged to purchase alternate insurance if registered in fewer than 3 courses. One option is available at http://www.guard.me/
